The Village Woodworker company provides a variety of hardwood stools to accommodate several applications of use to enhance your home or business. The stools can be used with a dining table, computer desk, kitchen counter, or any bar height.  We provide a quality product with a 100% guarantee with normal use. This product is manufactured using traditional woodworking methods with the aid of modern tooling.

Our stool design has been acclaimed for being ergonomically correct. The structure of the contoured seat cradles your lower body to relieve pressure points. The backrest provides lumbar support and is adjustable for your posture. The footrest gives leg support to complete the ergonomic fit. This custom fit furniture is handcrafted to meet your home or business needs with a unique design to provide comfort for many years of use.

Robert Roakes, (aka Bob) is the original designer and master craftsmen of these handcrafted hardwood stools. Bob fined-tuned his woodworking ability being mentored by his father, Merritt Roakes, in the family furniture business established in 1954, Falmouth Maine.  The craftsmen trade has been handed down to the new owner of The Village Woodworker, his son-in-law, Brian Warren. Brian began his apprenticeship under Bob’s guidance in 2008. He takes pride in the unique craftsmanship and product quality. Brian looks forward to continuing Bob's legacy manufacturing of these handcrafted stools.
